White County Pedal Pull moves to 4H Fair

The Young Leader Committee of the White County Farm Bureau is hosting the 2019 Youth Pedal Pull at the White County 4-H Fair on Wednesday, July 10. The event will begin at 3:30 p.m. and will take place near the Floral Hall. 

All area youth, including those not in 4-H, are invited to participate in the pedal pull. 

Three classes for both girls and boys will be offered. Weight classes will be: CLASS 1 – 50 lbs. and under; CLASS 2 – 51 lbs. to 75 lbs.; CLASS 3 – 76 lbs. and over. There is a maximum age limit of 12 years old. First and second place trophies will be awarded in each class. 

Registration will begin at 3:00 p.m. the day of the event. The event will run from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.


Event is open to any youth interested.
Weight classes are: Class 1 – 50 lbs and under; Class 2 – 51 lbs to 75 lbs; Class 3 – 76 lbs and over.
Maximum participant age is 12 years old.
Registration will begin 30 minutes prior to start of the event. Registration closes at the start of the event.
There is no entry fee for this event.
All participants must weigh-in the day of the event.
Amount of resistance weight added to the sled will be at the discretion of the Young Leader Committee.
Seat location on the tractor will be reset at the beginning of each class, and be the same for each contestant in that class.
All contest rulings and measurements will be made by the Young Leader Committee and are final.
Trophies for first and second place will be given to each class winner.
A participant reward will be given to all contestants.
By entering a child into this contest, you grant permission for photographs to be taken of your child during the event and give permission for them to be used for all media purposes, both in print and in digital form on any platform. If you object, then your child shouldn't participate.
Adverse behavior by any contestant will be grounds for expulsion from the contest.
