If you’re a farmer, agribusiness professional, or simply someone who loves to eat, you are part of agriculture! Because farming touches virtually every aspect of our lives, it is important to support the industry. That’s why we are asking you to join us.
Our membership provides our organization with a purpose and a voice. Our members become our leaders. They provide direction on policy positions, support our philanthropic efforts, and help us execute our programming.
Members with a financial interest in agriculture pay dues of $65.00 per year. Members who do not have a financial interest in agriculture, but wish to support our cause pay only $20.00 per year. When you join the White County Farm Bureau, you also become a member of the Illinois Farm Bureau and the American Farm Bureau Federation. There's power in numbers!
Individuals receive numerous benefits for their membership...
- Legislative Efforts – Farm Bureau works daily with our legislators in Washington, DC and in Springfield in order to thelp them understand how legislation will impact agriculture and rural Illinois.
- Ag Literacy – Farm Bureau provides funding to teach our children and our teachers about where their food and fiber comes from. Be sure to click on "AITC" in our menu for more information.
- Issue Management – You can count on Farm Bureau to keep you informed of the latest legislative and regulatory issues affecting our county, state, and nation.
- Local Affairs – Farm Bureau works within our county, supporting local efforts to help our communities prosper.
Individuals also earn a return on their membership dues through the use of dozens of discounted services. These include discounts on Ford, car rentals, hotel stays, prescription drugs, Case IH tractors, Caterpillar equipment, eye exams, Grainger Industrial Supply, and many others.
